App Updates

Internet Connection Required

Please note that internet connection is required during the app update.

Mac App Store/Windows Store

If you have downloaded the app from the Mac App Store or Windows Store, the app will be automatically updated by the stores respectively.

In-Store

If you downloaded Journey from our in-store webpage, we will be responsible for the app updates.

Step 1. Software Update
When Journey detects that you are using an older version, it will prompt for a software update. You can also update the app manually in (Settings) > Support > Check for Update.
Step 2. Accepting Software Update

The software update dialog shows a list of new features available in the version. Click Install Update button to proceed with the app update.

Step 3. Fetching Update

The download is in progress. Once the download has completed, the app closes and reopens again to finish the installation. The app is updated successfully.

The Download is Fetching too Long

You can download the latest .exe or .dmg on this webpage for Windows and Mac desktop respectively. Install the package to override the existing app version. You do not need to re-sync your journal data.

Update Crashes on Windows

For Windows app, please temporarily turn off any anti-virus and firewall softwares before updating the app.
