Customisation, Language and Region


In (Settings) under General section, you can change the font family, font size, vertical line height, themes, time format and many more.

Change the font family of the body text in the timeline preview and editor.

9pts to 20pts.

Choose system default, 12-hour (e.g. 2.00pm) or 24-hour (e.g. 1400) time format.

Check Auto Add Location box to enable automatic attachment of location into new journal entry.

Check the Spell Check box to enable spell check in the editor


Journey uses the default region’s language that you set in system locale. In order to change the region language:

Mac 10.9 and above

  1. Open System Preferences.
  2. Language & Region
  3. Click '+' to add a new language
  4. Change your primary language to the selected language.

Windows 10

  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Open Time & language
  3. Click Region & language
  4. Under Languages, click Add a language
  5. On Region & language, select the new language, and click Set as default.

The supported languages are:

  • English
  • 简体中文


To change to either imperial or metric units, go to  > Units.
